Let's get one thing straight....Amana Colonies suck...half the items were made in China. The Wasserbahn was 2.5 stars...it's run by 18-22 years olds. The "lifegaurds" did little more than nap. Where do I start???? understaffed. One person working front counter at 4:00 pm check in time. Long lines waiting to get room overheard manager talking to another staff member about how they had 2 parties to take care of and no one to work. Nothing else is around and it sure works. Water is cold, and hotel is a tiny bit shabby, but it's generally open and uncrowded and the kiddie area, slides and spinning pool are a LOT of fun. Dressing room is a DUMP...no benches to set anything down and kind of gross. More
