Even though I visited in the Spring and not at the garden highlight time of the year, it was lovely. This garden is staffed only by volunteers! and its free! It's a bit difficult to find, make sure you have it mapped out first. But I definately will return.

This place is a quiet, peaceful, beautiful place kept up by volunteers in the area who appreciate the wonder of plant life. Great place for a wedding if you are willing to chance the weather.

This is a small but very pretty and well laid out arboretum. It has a very pretty pond. If you like hostas, then this is the place for you! There are countless varieties of them!

The gardens here are amazing. This is a free experience, and one you won't want to miss. Go in the afternoon and take a picnic lunch. Allow an hour to walk the gardens. I love bringing my family here, it is so quiet and beautiful! We love coming especially when the roses are in bloom. Thank you to so many people who keep this place so wonderful.

This is a gem of Dubuque. Run by all volunteers too. There are many different gardens to enjoy. My favorites are the herb garden, rose garden and Japanese garden.

This place is just amazing. The gardens are very very pretty. When we were there, two weddings were going on! The flowers are all very well taken care of and the welcome center has many things to remember your visit by.

If you like outdoor beauty this is the place to go. They have what I think are absolutely wonderful gardens, gazebos (some are used for small weddings), a Japanese garden, and a fairly large welcome center. I find it wonderfully peaceful when going through and viewing all the different plants and flowers.
