The ballpark itself is nice ... Attended a game as part of a team-building outing with a client company I'm in town doing contract work for. Good view from all seats, but several items caught our group off guard: 1) they "upsell" the "cubbie bucks" with admission, and now our business group knows why! They are advance purchased "dollars" usable... More

Love going to Principal Park to watch I-Cubs baseball. It's a really nice facility - clean, well kept, and not a bad seat in the house. Also love that they host the high school playoffs there in late July/August. Great family-friendly environment. Fireworks on Fridays too!

Principal Park in Des Moines is truly one of the jewels on the crown in this city. The ballpark is situated just minutes off the main interstate that runs through the heart of Des Moines and stadium was actually rebuilt just over twenty years ago so it's fitted with a terrific concession concourse and roughly 14,000 seats. There isn't a... More

Such a nice, clean small ball park that makes the experience intimate. We had great seats to entertain visitors from Russia. They loved it! Food ok, typical ball park food.

Growing up in Des Moines I have been to this ballpark many times. It is very nice and clean. Parking is just ok. On the 4th of July they have an excellent fireworks show after the game. Sometimes you get to see a "Star" from the big leagues if they are rehabing. The park has a "Beer Garden" with a very... More

Not a bad seat in the house, had season tickets this past summer. Good ball and a great atmosphere! Cubby likes to come and play with the kids and there is always something going on on the field. Bring something to sign, and I am sure you can find the next MLB star!

Sec Taylor field is the original name of the stadium and is one of the nicer Triple A baseball stadiums. The grounds are very well maintained. The seating is nice, and most seats have a good vies of the field. Several promotions occur throughout the year to increase the fun for families or groups. Basic ballpark food and drinks are... More

Not a bad seat anywhere, very intimate feel. Concessions are good for a AAA stadium. Great view of the Des Moines skyline from the first base line. One of the nicest minor league parks I've been to.

Modern ballpark with lots of good food and reasonable prices as ballpark food goes. A nice souvenir shop too. Lots of parents with kids; it's a very family-friendly place.
