A very nice walkway allows you to go up and view the top of the waterfall. Easy access from the road. While not a large waterfall, it is always nice to see one. Decorah is a nice clean town in a beautiful part of Iowa, and the waterfall is worth seeing.

Live here and visit here often. We grab ice cream and sit there and listen to the roar of the water. Have been walking the trails and paths for years, and never is old. The roar of the water and the amount of pictures that you can take with the rocks and foliage is amazing.

My family lives only 150 miles from me, but they enjoy seeing Dunnings Springs every time they visit. You can simply enjoy the waterfall from the park area or climb the wide steps up to the mouth of the springs to look into the hillside/cave.

Dunnings Spring Park has added a wonderful wooden walkway up the side of the hill so you can really experience the beauty of the area. We were just there last week and the leaves changing made it even more beautiful. Great spot to visit.

You follow a single lane into the parks and the treat at the end is the waterfall. You can walk to the top or take trails and go to the very top. It is always a good photo op.

We were there on a 100 degree day, and when we walked toward the springs, it felt like we were entering an air conditioned room. There are a few picnic tables. We were there twice during our trip at lunchtime (both week days) and the tables were available. The water flow is slightly down due to the lack of rain,... More

We love the short trek up the side of the springs to the top. There are stairs for those not quite so daring

Dunning Springs is a beautiful place, with a lovely waterfall and babbling stream all fed by icy cold underground streams. It is a lovely place to stop for a picnic, or if you'd just like to cool off on a hot day.

Scrambling up to the spring's source requires some effort and careful placement of the feet. It's fun, though, and the water is icy cold on a hot day. The kids had fun building dams across the stream. Lovely setting, great for picnics.

I took a picture of the springs that is so beautiful I use it as a screen saver. Has an "otherworldly" feel to it.
