Was dissapointed. It was rundown, outdated, lacked real memorabilia, and only staff working was at the desk, no guide or anyone. Felt deserted.

This supposed-non-profit organization has been a financial drain and a terrible investment for the City of South Bend for years. It is relatively boring in all presentations and you just would not want to waste money to see the poor job done in operating this large facility. Fortunately, it is MOVING out of state and so will be a vacant...

For the fan of college football, this is the place to visit in the city of South Bend. One might think that the emphasis would be on nearby Notre Dame, but that is not the case. Fans of any college football team will find something to enjoy here. Unfortunately, the museum will be moving to Atlanta (next year, we heard),...

My two adult sons and I spent a couple of hours before attending the BYU game. The Hall made a good effort to present information about BYU. Unfortunately one of the dates regarding Luke Staley was wrong. Oh well, we are glad we went.
Well worth your time. Its only 10 minutes from Notre Dame's campus in downtown South Bend, IN. Its good for Kids of all ages, from 5 to 50.

The Hall of Fame is preparing to leave South Bend. No upgrades, for a very long time. Very dated for facilities for special events, limited staff, limited events
This was a better than average exhibit. Ufortunately, they closed it after we visited it in August 2011 (not October as indicated below). I would have visited more than once if it had remained open.
We recently took our third trip to the College Football Hall of Fame. The exhibits are museum quality and very interesting. This was the first time we saw the coaches room. Their are several interactive things that the kids enjoy such as the fitness ares where they can test their agility and reaction time. We also enjoyed playing coach and...
