I liked the gift shop here. There were items offered that I've never seen in other zoos. My children had alot of fun. I think because its location is so close to the park makes it a nice visit. You can get the breeze from the lake which gives a "vacation experience." More

Washington Park Zoo is a great place to take young children, it is small and very compact, but still lots of different things to look at. It will be a full day if you want it to be, but not overwhelming. Nice little gift shop too. Highly recommended way to spend an afternoon! More
