We didn't get to spend very much time there, but what a beautiful place! And now it has the Go Ape! part of the park, which I think was a very smart move! There's a little nature museum right nearby also. We enjoyed going through that! I'd love to go again to hike some more trails and see more of... More

We have gone on the Sunday morning bird hikes for years. Depending on the season you can have great waterfowl, warblers, owls, or whatever else is in the area.

I live only about a mile from Eagle Creek Park.....one of our city's most serene and "natural" parks with miles of biking, jogging, walking trails that take you through beautiful secluded, wooded acres where one might pass a peaceful small lake...or even find themselves on a high and majestic overlook of Eagle Creek Reservoir, one of two major bodies of... Nice family outing with fun physical activities. Beautiful scenery on Indy's West side. We walked some really cool trails that took us down to the water at Eagle Creek Park. Our kids like hiking :)

A very nice reservoir and nature area. There are several trails/paths to walk along, though if looking for a more secluded outdoor experience this is not your place. It is busy on the weekends, particularly nice days. Dog-friendly, though you cannot have them off-leash (unless in the Bark park, which is extra $) as is standard in Indiana parks. I... More

Eagle Creek Park has hiking, fitness trail, picnic tables, playgrounds for the kids, and a dog park (with separate admission). We love the dog park.

This park is soo big and there are so many trails you can hike. The lake is incredible but also the little ponds are charming. You can have a cookout at a shelter or do the zip-line adventure. The bird center and the discovery center are both incredible!

I go to eagle creek everyday in the spring time and uin the summer to catch some very nice fish. From nice crappie to big catfish. Eagle creek is one of the best places to fish around Indianapolis where you are almost guaranted to catch fish day in and day out. See you on the water.
