If you are into history this is a great stop. There isn't much for kids to when its not the holiday season. Older kids may like some displays. The Christmas Story display was great! More

There are videos as well as texts and solid objects portraying the history of Indiana. The store has great products to use for gifts. A very extensive library is available for research. More

If you have a phobia about participating this isn't for you. Unfortunately, we had a person with us that wasn't comfortable with this experience. The Cole Porter room was nice but there was no... My work group held a meeting in one of the rooms on the canal level of the Indiana Historical Society. What a beautiful building! It was a convenient location for us to meet, and we all took advantage of the opportunity to take our breaks outside along the canal. After the meeting, we had the opportunity to tour the Indiana... My wife and I (along with a 15 month old) stumbled upon this place today trying to kill a couple of hours, and I am glad we did. The Indiana Historical Society had some great exhibits (especially the three "You Are there" exhibits and offered a unique perspective on Indiana history. VERY interactive and a lot of fun. I would... More
