The newspaper article made the canal boat ride to be a big deal. The schedule was very limited so we didn't get a chance to ride. The historic village comprised of 4 buildings. Not worth the time to explore. The small museum was very nice and gave a good explanation of the canal system.

The short trip on the Canal Boats is very interesting, quaint and well narrated. The Canal Boats are an authentic look into the past of water travel providing some history you didn't learn in school (and very interesting, even though I expected it to be boring). You won't be disappointed!

Take your family and go to this park. It is beautifully pulled together. There is an early fancy house. Canal boats to ride...with lots to see. There is a small museum and lots and lots of trails. This is a family outing worth planning.
