Many, many interesting things happening at Northwestern. Performances, football, walk the lakefront, great juried art show each year, beautiful church across the street with floor to ceiling stained glass windows, nice rose garden. Really to much to list. More

Northwestern University, located along Lake Michigan's shoreline, offers a beautiful campus, a great museum, Cahn Hall with it's wonderful theater productions and nearby downtown Evanston with an array of restaurants and shops. More

It's called the Harvard of the Midwest because of it's history, feel of the Ivy League and tradition, I suppose, but NU deserves it's own name. My daughter selected NU for it's biomedical engineering facility even though the Chicago weather was a negative. Campus has a very confortable feel to it, very safe.
