In 3 years of subscriptions I only disliked one show, and all of them have been interesting and well done. Definitely one of the best things in Chicago.

We just renewed our subscription for next season, and that says something! The recent performance of Timon of Athens was amazing. As I usually find the history plays a bit tedious, I was not looking forward to this production. I could not have been more wrong. It was superb. I could have bought a ticket for the next show and...

Oustanding theatre in a great location.
Extremely talented casts. Solid productions. Comfortable and enjoyable even for people who don't normally think that they like Shakespeare. Worth giving it a shot. Chances are pretty high that this IS your thing even if you never thought so.

The theater is a jewel with a thrust stage that puts you right in the play as some seats are about 5 feet from the stage. The productions are wonderful and we have had season tickets for 4 years. Worth the cost to go and see the plays.
