If you are looking for some great music and a good time check out Blue Chicago. I suggest you check the schedule and look for Gran Louise. If you go ask the Guitar player to do cold shot for the guy from NC you won't be disappointed if you are a SRV fan. Live music as good as it gets... More

This fantastic Blues bar is always a must when I visit Chicago. No matter what I do during the day, my night always ends at Blue Chicago. When you first get there, you might stand, but usually when the band ends it's set, seats do come avalible. If I am with my wife we do go early. Nick the bartender always... More

I have gone here several times. I learned to get here early as they do fill the place to the rim. They are known for there focus on female blues artists. I have yet to see a bad performer yet. The one negative is that they do pack the place full. This can make for a great atmosphere or can... More

Guy at the door with his accent was pleased to accept my friends money for this place. Don't know where he's from but it works for these guys. They have a small dive bar and offer good blues music. The music is good, but there are plenty of places that smell good and are much cleaner with great blues music.... More

If you are looking for great live blues music and reasonably priced drinks then this is the place. They do pack the people into this small bar so be prepared to stand unless you get there early and be sure to dress in layers as it certainly gets steamy!! We were a bit late to get a seat but early... More

This place has the best music and atmosphere around! The JW Band was wonderful, and we ended up leaving after 1:30 AM. Drinks were reasonable too, and the location was great. Worth the trip for the music!! More

My wife and I visited here on our 10 year anniversary. Had a reat time, great sound and a really great line up of very talented bands. Classic old time blues, in a nice small bar. More

I stumbled across this bar late one night with friends. Folks.. This is a Blues Bar. If you are into blues... It has all the touches. With bands that resemble Howlin Wolff ... Muddy.. Big Mama Thorton Aretha and BB it left me raving about the place. it's small with a small stage as a good blues bar should be.... More

It's small, crowded, a bit dirty and loud and I wouldn't change a thing. $8 cover is worth every penny. They book great bands. Blue Chicago can be packed especially late on the weekends. If you want a seat, go on a weeknight or go early. There's always an interesting mix of locals and tourists. Drinks are reasonably priced and... More

Great place to listen to great blues music. $8 cover was fair, drinks $4-$7. Not very big, so not many seats. Not the cleanest place either. More
