The best part is there is always a little area in each exhibit that is just for "non-walkers" to play. My 2 year old enjoyed the museum very much. She was able to do most things, there was just one area that was only for children 5 and older. More

This Children's Museum offers many different activities for multiple age levels. It is well designed and laid out. Although it was very busy when we were there, it did not feel crowded and could accommodate a high volume of visitors. The science concepts area was nice and offered a refreshing variety of activities. Parking was fairly typical for the Navy... More

This museum has all of the "common" childrens museum activities (play kitchen, climbing, etc). We were travelling with four children ages 10 months - 8yrs and they all were entertained. We were actually going to visit the Navy Pier and just happened to see it there. We used a reciprocal science center pass to get in free. We spent about... More

We had a lot of fun here. The kids enjoyed themselves very much. Only complaint is it was a bit on the small side. We ran out of things to do after a few hours. More

For locals and tourists alike, the Children's Museum at Navy Pier is a great place for [little] kids to hang out for a few hours.... The only real complaint i have is parking---it is crazy expensive..... More

I guess you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting too much, as the entrance fee was around $12. While our 6 year old enjoyed the climbing and playing, it wasn't over the top awesome. She would have had more fun with a friend, or if she'd been about a year younger. I suppose it would be a good... More

I would say this place is good for 4-7 year olds to play around in. Much older than that and they would probably get bored. Not that much educational value. Really shouldn't call it a museum, it's more of an activity center. Admission is $12, though you can save a dollar with a coupon from their website. There are some... More

We had a fun afternoon at the Children's Museum. Also, they offer kids free on the first Sunday of each month! More
