We were driving from Vegas to Jackson hole, so we found this little attraction along the way. Cute baby bear exhibit where tourist can bottle feed them. A little petting zoo with very friendly deer you can feed and pet, as well as a pot belly pig, and some very assertive goats. Watch out for the one with the horns.... More

We like bear world and this was our second year. We mostly go for the little bears. This year, they didn't let us pet them, which was very disappointing. We came at noon, and they said, they let people pet them, every hour. (was maybe 10min after noon) so we decided to wait. While stuff played with them, pet them... More

Bears, wolves, and bison up close, as well as deer, and elk. The animals are obviously caged, and have a slightly different demeanor than true wild animals - that is except the bears and moose. It is pretty spectacular, and worth seeing - especially if you want to distinguish between a grizzly and a black bear. WELL worth the family... More

The staff here look almost as miserable as the animals. They give you the absolute minimum of customer service and friendliness. One woman in her little golf cart zoomed up to us and told us off as we were filming a bear that was right next to my window and almost ran into it. We had unrolled the window for... More

So I don't buy into "animal tourism" at all. I visited this place reluctantly as part of a mandatory tour stop with my tour bus. I was surprised to find the guide very compassionate about the animals, and there was something genuine in her knowledge and talk of care for them. The bears were amazing. There are also birds, pigs,... More

Don't go during the middle of the day...all the bears are asleep. I wish that I could giive a better rating. Although I didn't go to the petting zoo, we just drove through. I was disappointed after paying that much money

On your way to Yellowstone you must stop at Yellowstone Bear World. You will get to see all the animals you thought you would see in Yellowstone but didn't. And be sure to visit the adorable cubs. We took the Curator Tour and got to feed the bears! It was awesome!

We visited Bear World on Memorial Day 2012. I was concerned that it might be too busy on a holiday, but we never felt overcrowded. It was somewhat of a cool day, which is exactly when you want to go. The Bears are much more active. You'll see mostly Black Bears, a few Grizzly Bears, Deer, Elk (including a white... More

What an experience! This place is so cool and the animals are treated so well they are all like one big happy family. Feeding the bears and cubs is an amazing adventure.
