Another testament to Boise's commitment to wonderful public areas. You can hike all the way to the next state! There are hikes of all description and well documented and signed. However, grab a $6 map from REI. It's well worth it and supports this excellent trail system. We loved it!
Did some walking on the Trail System and found it to be enjoyable with great scenery. We walked to a Fire Fighters Memorial that is very nice honoring fire fighters.
I really recommend u to go here. there is just always such a peaceful go there if u want a nice peaceful day!!!!!!!!!!
I've been using the trails throughout the ridge to river system for most of my life and always leave more impressed by the efforts that groups like SWIMBA and others put into keeping the trails in good condition and accessible. I love the trail condition updates I receive from ridge to rivers and recommend everyone sign up to get them....

There are so many trails in Boise - it is awesome to go tromping about in the foothills. not sure if the table rock walk is in the trail system, but it is a must do if you like long, gentle hikes.
Varied trails great for walking, running or biking. You get to see Bois from all angles. Especially the Boise river
