I really enjoy stopping here when on the Greenbelt. It gives you a moment of pause to remember this young girl and her battle to survive Nazi Germany. Give yourself a good hour to read all the carvings.

This memorial is right in the middle of one of the busiest traffic centers of Boise - and yet it is so peaceful when you are walking through the well-tended paths. I had wondered why there would be an Anne Frank memorial in Boise - what could be the connection? But the memorial explains that to the visitor and makes...

The various plaques tell a remarkable story. And the statue of Anne looking out the window is dramatic.
Following the visit of a traveling Anne Frank exhibit to Boise several years ago, this permanent memorial to Anne Frank, as well as the issue of global human rights, was established in the heart of Boise near the Boise Public Library. This is a wonderful opportunity to educate yourselves and your children on not only the life of Anne Frank,...

i was rather blown away to be eating at a restaurant last year, 2011 for Thanksgiving and then a few yards away on the Boise Greenbelt walkway, to have this amazing tribute to Anne Frank. it is well done, both the sculpture and the text. great exhibit and being outdoors makes it even better-no matter the season.
What a remarkable Memorial. It's great walking around by yourself, but schedule a docent. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and you'll get more out of the experience. The Anne Frank statue is courtesy of Idaho school children's donations.

I only had one day to explore...

So beautiful! wonderful interactive history. There are quotes from many wonderful people in history. I could sit here all day. It is very relaxing, educational and a great place to reflect and feel gratitude for my freedom.
