We have stayed in the cabins on many occasions. The cabins are clean and comfortable. While we prefer the log cabins we have stayed in the newer Cabins as well. We are going back again for a week next year. Great quiet place to relax, fish or hike. More

This was a very clean park, including the bathrooms. A small store provided any small necessity plus some souvenir type stuff. This was a March, so the full park was not functioning. Enjoyable just the same. So very clean. There is water near the park tables, so you should keep this in mind with small children. There is a fee 'by... More

Outside of some traffic noise (worse on nice weekends with the guys on there crotch rockets, and at least one gets carried off via ambulance with daily regularity), which the creek can hide if you can get a creekside camping spot, this is the quietest GA state camping area we have been to. It's our third time there with our... More

My wife and I took our two children to Vogel State Park to enjoy a picnic lunch and the warm spring weather that we have been enjoying in GA. The day was great and the water was even slightly warm enough to wade in in spots. There is a $5.00 parking fee. My tip: if you live in GA and... More

My husband and I went hiking and camping here and loved it. It is on part of the AT, so that was wonderful to hike to one of the huts on the trail. More

Hiked five miles on Blood Mountain. It was gorgeous! Majority of the hike was beside water. Numerous waterfalls and outstanding lake view. More

Vogel State Park, in the NE part of of Georgia, is chock-full of things to do. There is a first-rate campground, many hiking trails, a waterfall trail, a swimming area in the large lake and several picnic pavilions. Children enjoy fishing in the lake or throwing bread out to the ducks. Great for a single-day visit, or if you are... More
