Park Avenue was a nice find when we were looking for something different to do in Orlando. Good restaurants, shopping and dog friendly.
Visit the wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday, stroll down Park Ave. for some leisurely shopping and have lunch at any of the fabulous restaurants. It's away from the tourist area and you will meet where the locals meet.
If you are within 30 miles of Winter Park, then you need to add this to your list of must see locations. Park Avenue is the main drag of Winter Park. You will find fine dining and multiple novelty shops. They also host a art show on the sidewalks at least once a year.
What a great place to walk around, visit the many shops, grab a bite to eat and sit awhile in the beautiful park. There is a "spice" store we have to visit each time we come to Winter Park. We come here several times a year to relax and unwind for an afternoon. I wish we lived a little closer...

fun stores, upscale little restaurants, beautiful environs -- at one end of the Avenue is Rollins College, at the other is the beautiful Casa Feliz. It's worth it to drive the roads nearest the lakes, just to see the fabulous architecture.
I love coming here. There are so many little shops that serve the gamut of society, not just the hoi-polloi of Winter Park.
