Wide open fairways but tough fast greens. Never a level putt. Great staff. Fairways are cut very short. Only downside sand traps in poor condition.

Management staff disrespectful and unprofessional. Amenities nonexistent...single restroom, no restaurant, sparse pro shop. Although the track was decent, there are far better experiences around the Sarasota area. Will not return.

Beautiful course in the middle of a defunct housing project south of Venice. The name might confuse some as the location is decidedly not in Sarasota. I've played Sarasota National Golf Course many times. It is a wide open course, as the housing development that was suppose to go around the course never took off. The greens are a bit fast, and course is challenging. The scenery is beautiful, and the price to play is reasonable.

The course is in great shape.The fairways are wide and the greens are fast and true.Tee times are always available.Fees are average for the area.
