Captain Stewart was amazing. He runs a clean and professional operation. He worked hard all day for us, with such a great attitude. He knows where to catch fish, and we caught many more than we could keep. Over the last 20 years of occasional fishing trips, this was hands down the best. Captain Stewart made our day really memorable.

I have booked charters with many fishing guides in Clearwater over the past 20 years and I can honestly say Captain Stewart is the best guide I have ever used. Very professional and understands customer service. Great boat and top of the line fishing equipment. A couple of friends and I charter him this past week and had a banner... More

Captain Stewart was an awesome fishing guide, we caught lots of Sea Trout and he made our day out on the water very enjoyable. Would highly recommend his charter, he went out of his way to make us feel at home on the water with him.

This charter was set up for me by a third party, who had Captain Stewart Ames recommended to her by another charter company that had ceased operations. It was a great recommendation. All trip details were precise and what we had been told in advance was exactly what was delivered. Captain Stewart did a great job at having an agenda... More

I have fished with Captain Ames on 5 different occasions and each has been a very satisfying experience. This particular trip was unique in that we caught our limits (3 guys) of trout in the first 90 minutes of fishing. We stayed on our spot for another hour or so and caught and released several more fish. We then started... More

Our fishing trip with Captain Stewart turned our vacation to a family memory that will never be forgotten! From my first conversation with Captain Stewart on the phone, he immediately made me feel that his main priority is for us to be able to get out there and catch some fish all while having a good time. His genuine nature... More

From chasing porpising Spanish Macerel attacking their glass minnow prey to Kingfishing over nearshore reefs to Inshore Redfishing, we even tightened up on a very confused baraccuda. I've fished on dozens of charters and seldom have the experience where the hope and hype matches the outcome, but Cap't Ames and his Shaeffer beauty really raised the bar. Thanks for an... More

What a "hoot" to fish with Captain Stewart Ames. We were in town for a wedding, and he came highly recommended as a fishing guide. We fished on Friday morning, and again on Saturday morning. Captain Ames put us on good fish on both days! His boat and all his equipment are first rate, and he takes plenty of time... More
