The great view from the 22nd floor is as impressive as the art gallery contained there. The Florida Capitol building has several other interesting exhibits but treat yourself to a great view on the 22nd floor.

Nice building although a bit modern when you think of capitols. One of five tower capitols in the USA. Displays are nice and it was fun to see the offices of the state leadership. Very nice panoramic view from the 22nd floor.
We loved the view from the 22nd floor, very impressive to see our state capitol and the surrounding area.
If you go to the Florida State Capitol, be sure to go to the top Floor (22nd) and get the view of Tallahassee from the tallest building in Tallahassee. Got to have lunch with my daughter and husband on the top floor. Gave us a 360 view of Tallahassee and the surrounding area. Pictures help tell you what you are looking at
Had a fantastic time at Florida Blue Key's Gator Day event this April. We toured both the Senate and the House and met with state representatives. Fantastic time.
Don't miss the view from the 22nd floor! It's worth the trip to the top. There are a lot of stairs to climb and the handicapped entrance requires a lot of walking; no drop-off spot.
Lobby days at the Capitol are in March each yr. This is an exciting time to visit as the capitol and grounds are bustling and in bloom. Getting around inside is a bit of a challenge as elevators are separated by the number of floors they serve. The Rotunda is in the central tower as are many House reps Offices...

Parking was somewhat challenging so I was able to walk from my hotel. Well signed to make it easier to navigate.
What an ugly high rise. Metal and concrete. An observation deck and view at the 22nd floor was forgettable. Not exactly a waste of time.... but pretty close. Most kids will probably hate it unless they are a nerd.
