Beautiful school but the surrounding area isn't very nice. Finding good food was challenging, particularly on Sunday, many restaurants were closed
Maybe I'm a little biased, but this is the best campus I have ever been to. Lots of night life, great sports teams, best atmosphere you could ask for in a college experience. Also frequently ranked as one of the top public Universities in the country. Parking is terrible, live close by or use the bus! Go Noles!
PRISM Concert in early December. A Must see. We attend every year. It is unbelievable what these kids can do. Held in Ruby Diamond Auditorium. A concert put on the entire school of music from the symphony orchestra to the marching chiefs. Entertainment for all.
Florida State University is a very nice facility but is your typical college campus. It is somewhat spread out and is well kept but there are many more interesting things to do like visit the 22 story tall state capital building and see the surrounding area from up high.
... Great Campus...in the city, many cultural events held here...near to everything. ...but the best thing about FSU is THE UNBEATEN FOOTBALL TEAM, The Seminoles! FSU brings to Tallahasse their great school spirit and creates the 'fabulous college town atmosphere'! The city is not full of dreary retirees, lick much of the rest of Florida. The students of FAMU and... More

FSU campus is an exceptionally beautiful and well organized university. Academic is at the top of its existance with many exceptionally highly nationally rated departments and programs - medical, law and engineering schools, undergraduate degrees and study abroad international programs. One should not forget the arts with FSU having one of the top music and theater programs in the US.... More
We visited our granddaughter who just started her Freshman year. We toured the campus, sports stadium, dormitories, library and expansive grounds. In many respects a typical University setting yet an outstanding complex of offerings for students of all ages and gender. They enjoy an excellent academic reputation. This year they're enjoying an outstanding football team and winning season.
We were unimpressed after hearing so much about FSU. All the buildings are nice and the general facilities and services available seem good. The campus is more of a mix of in city and campus environment so trekking around can be quite an adventure. The parking is horrible and it took us a 1/2 hour to find parking. We did... More
Impressive! It was the first school we visited while searching for a college for our son. He fell in love with it. Aside from the staff being knowledgeable, the buildings and the school grounds were impecable. Compared to other universities we visited in Florida, we are completely sold to this one. Orientation leaders are outstanding. Even moving day is well... More
