Found this by accident really. Its a lovely, peacful place to sit and relax. You cant swim as there is a notice which says fishing only. This is due to currents I think. You can paddle though. No facilities or consessions but still nice for a couple of hours to read in peace with your toes in the sand. More

You can have a picnic here, fish, swim, and collect shells. We've seen dolphins there 4 of our 5 visits to this area. If staying at the Lido Beach Resort, it's a nice walk on the beach to South Lido Park. More

This is a lovely little park, recently updated which is popular for paddlers of canoes and similar craft. Local birders check it frequently in March, April and early may for migrating warblers. More

Free parking, restrooms, picnic benches, BBQ, lovely sandy beach with shady spots if you need them and a glorious spot to fish. Oh and you can also do the short trail walk if you want to spot wildlife. Our second time here and I understand why some of the people we spoke to come back year after year. More

My Grand daughter was married there, out on the point at sunset. Some gray harens attended with us. I have lovely pictures of it from November 2011. They are happy, My Kent and I were just there and enjoyed the time. We took a lunch I fixed and had a good time; The great times to remember. More

Friends invited us to join them late afternoon for a barbeque dinner and sunset. The facilities at South Lido Park are great with plenty of shade, picnic tables, barbeque pits, swings and slides for chldren and toilet facilities, all only a few steps from the beach.
