Went there twice. We rode a motorcycle to there. Had lunch elsewhere. Sorry about that for the staff. Just wanted to have a cocktail and relax! Not here. They told us each time the tables were for DINING CUSTOMERS! Nobody was there at 2:30 pm. Our waiter was not only short, but very rude! Will not return here. Such a... More

Poor parking. Long wait for table. Abbreviated menu. Crowded. Lights on and off. Focus was on Red Bar staff rather than Red Bar customers. More

Yes, it had it all: great food, great service (yes I know what good service looks like), great value and you can't beat the decor. Wife had the baked eggplant with seafood sauté inside. Our son had the manicotti, which was fantastic (yes, I had some of both of theirs) and I had the fish of the day, grilled wahoo... More

We had heard about this restaurant from many friends, and didn't know what to expect. There was a policeman managing the traffic jam as so many people were in line to get seated. We are glad to have gone in order to "experience" the funky decor, the jazz band, and the "vibes" of each of the crowded rooms. The food... More

We love the Red Bar and when we are staying in Destin or 30A for a week, we always go here twice for dinner. Here are the positives: fantastic location in Grayton Beach (finest beach in the U.S. and a wonderful little beach town); funky, hip, cool place; incredible food - they do not have menus, they do five entrees... When we finally got in to Red Bar, the service was awful. The bartenders were rude and the drinks weren't that good. The menu is small, in fact, we ended up not eating here because of the lack anything appealing. The bar across the street had a much larger menu and better service! More

Soooo good. That's all you need to know. Oh, and it's cash or check only - that's good to know, too. And they don't serve breakfast anymore... another small tidbit. Go. You will not regret it. More

My wife and I visit the area about 12 to 18 times per year and each time we eat at least one meal here. Most of the time it is either breakfast or dinner. Never had a bad meal. Friendly wait staff and good service. We love to eat Sunday lunch and listen to Dread Clampitt play. Very popular with... More
