My wife visited here almost fifty years ago and was impressed how much it looked like her memories. Looking across the lake you see alligators, blue herons, osprey and the condos of downtown. There are miles of trails and an education center. There is also a bird rescue sanctuary. Lots for families and children to see and do. More

This nature park is definitely worth a visit - only $3.00 a person. We saw lots of wildlife: alligators, baby alligators, gopher tortoise, birds and birds of prey that have been rescued. The staff is very nice and helpful. Many water stations to get hydrated with cold water. More
