Makes for a great afternoon stroll taking a look at the historic homes downtown. Although Pensacola is one of the oldest cities in the country, don't expect to see anything older than 120 years or so as hurricanes and battles over time have eliminated the oldest structures.

If you are in Pensacola to visit; this and the Naval Museum should be on your list. Very nice area with well kept houses. A throw back in time.

We had a wonderful tour guide who knew everything there was to know about the Pensacola area we were visiting. The houses where beautiful and kept up so well. You could imagine leaving during the time. Old Christ Church is just beautiful and it's history is amazing.

My wife and I enjoyed visiting this pleasant and informative part of Pensacola. A lot of effort has been made to restore and maintain this "village." We appreciated seeing a lot of school groups visiting to get acquainted with their roots.

The architecture in this historic neighborhood is fascinating. The porch pickets are different on every home and the house layout is peculiar to Pensacola. Lots of renovation and gentrification going on. As a big plus, there's a great brewpub nearby!
