“Slow as a durge”

Be prepared for a 5-6 hour round of golf on any given day. Pace of pay is like a death march. Course is interesting and will require some thought. Can't just pound it and chase it. One of the better designed and maintained courses. Poor pace of play leaves me finding other places to play. More

Well maintained course with plenty of challenges but not hard enough to put the solid club golfer off the course.. Beautiful scenery with Gums, Palmetto and several other tree varieties make this especially picturesque course. Greens are a challenge with undulating slopes and variations. Nice course - price very good - definately one of the nicest we played - didn't golf the LPGA but not really that good of a golfer. This course was challenging and very well kept. More

A very nice course winding around the local municipal airport. We played it many times. Only $18 with cart after 1400 hours. More

River Bend was in excellent shape and I enjoyed the spread out layout. The course is somewhat disjointed with 3 holes here, then 6 holes across the road and the last nine separated further. I was told they do not allow walkers, which would slow the pace on the long distances between. The facilities were older but well kept. More

This used to be our favorite course. We live in the area. It is still the most attractive course in the area and we love the layout. Problem is, they have dropped the rates and are doing a volume approach to making a profit. We played today, with a tee time and we waited, and waited and waited. We finally... More

Great place to golf! I absolutely loved this course! Fairways and greens are excellent, staff is very friendly and if you wait till after four green fees are only $12 with cart included. Will definitely play their again if I ever come back to Florida. More

The 10 of us who played here unanimously raved about this course -- the layout is superb. In addition, the greens are excellent, and the general condition of the course is very good.
