I am a tour guide and stop here frequently with my travelers. In late April, we toured Harry Leu gardens with 40 senior citizens. The Gardens are a great oasis in Orlando's concrete jungle. This is a wonderful way to relax and spend a day with nature. You take a self guided tour through acres and acres of wonderful gardens and plantings. Kick back and take your time, breathe in the aroma of newly opening flowers and other vegetation.

Never is boring. Great for all ages. Recommend walking at opening time. If you're there early enough, no one will pry you from hugging the trees. You'll want to keep hugging them.

For $5 you can view a movie on select nights at Leu Gardens. It was a great girl's night out with wine, cheese, crackers, and a great movie! Recommend bug spray, blankets/chairs, picnic food/drinks. Go to the house first to get your stamp and pay fee...then park. Members park closer.

If you like flowers, this is a nice place to visit. It's well thought out and nice. You can spend a few hours there and see everything. I went with a group of ladies and we went to Gargi's afterwards for lunch.

This was a bit away from where we were but worth the drive.
VERY LOVELY Gardens and grounds.
So many sections that if you want to see it all you need plenty of time.
Could easily spend morning or afternoon here.
Touring the house/museum is informative.
