I suggest you get there early as possible before others silt it up. winter is better, summer you get green algae. The park itself is nothing special.

The place is magical and I'm sure people who like dive will delightful with what their are gonna find here, but is not a place to take your family in a hot summer day and make some bbq so if you wanna try something different and want some adventure in your day go head... Anyways the place looks like needs... More

Want a Dive Site you can go to any time of the year? This is the place! Not much to look at, at first. but once you get in the water, it's awesome. The water stays the same temp, year round. If you look close enough you can find things you never expected to see.... The best time to go,... More

This was part of an advanced open water certification dive. Not much to rave about, most certainly not the facilities. Tricky steps to the springs!! Even worse going back up!! On this particular day there were a lot of divers present and thus the visibility was terrible, but made for a good learning scenario and gave us a taste as... More

As the other posts said, visually, it's not impressive from the surface. A 20 foot surface pool sitting in a 30 ft sink, but wait untill you see it from the water. I was not prepared for the size of the cavern, you will need lights, in fact they require them. Pop down to 60 and 90 ft and look back... More

Paradise Springs ia a great, mostly unknown place to dive. It's not in the Who's Who of springs, but not because it doesn't deserve it. Paradise is owned by a husband and wife team who literally use their garage for gear storage and site orientation. Don't expect anything special like a retail shop or a snack bar. Ocala is just... Paradise Springs is my private oasis. From the moment I turn off the main drag, hit the dirt road, I begin to mentally and physically decompress from the other world. A dive destination to be savored in slo mo: Enjoy the drive, pay attention to the dive video that you will view in spring owner Curtis' garage. Rent a light... More

Well, first of all, I was surprised that this little sink hole was in someone's yard. Granted, it was a 5 or 10 acre lot. Like another rater stated, you do fill out the paperwork in the owner's driveway. The mandatory video is on a stand in his garage, behind the 4 wheeler! Don't get me wrong -- I had... More
