Whether you have ever been on a kayak or not, you should go to Captiva Kayak. They will spend all the time you need to learn what to do, how to do it, where to go, how to get there, and how to do it all safely and having a terrific experience. They have single and double kayaks, all in... More

This is a terrific tour with plenty of options about where, when and how long. The back bay tour gets you close to plenty of wildlife. The twilight tour is feeding time for many birds as well as being the best way to see a sunset. Barb and Greg run the operation and are friendly and knowledgeable. No experience required... More

Barb & Greg are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I rented the Hobie Pro Angler 3 times in 4 days to do some fishing in the area. The Kayaks were in perfect shape, they were very informative on explaining how to use them and even gave me some good tips on where to go fishing. I... More

My boyfriend and I had a great time on the water and back in the mangroves. Barb was so wonderful and taught even us, a couple that owns a whitewater rafting and kayaking company, a new way to paddle that saves your energy and strength. We will definitely be back for a guided tour the next time down! More

My girlfriend and I partook of the guided environmental tour yesterday which was a definite highlight of our visit to Captiva. The tour consisted of the tour of us and 5 others along with Greg, our guide and co-owner. Prior to setting out both he and Barbara gave us some instruction and made certain we were properly and comfortably fitted... More

Rented 2 single sea kayaks for an afternoon tour of Buck Key. Staff was helpful in picking the right kayaks, reviewing the basics, and helping to plan a route. Maps were also provided along with a dry bag. Kayaks were clean and in good shape and the the route was perfect. Definitely would recommend the mangrove trail across Buck Key. More

We stumbled on the pamphlet about Captiva Kayaks at the Sanibel Visitors Center, and quickly booked a morning tour over the phone. We arrived at the marina around 9am, and got a quick kayaking lesson from Barbara, one of the owners. Even though we've kayaked quite a bit, her tips were great and we both learned a lot, and it...
