One of many beautiful places on Sanibel-Captiva to do so much. Of course like everything else on the island it will be driven by the tides. High tide is hard to shell but great to fish; low tide is great shelling and hard to fish. High tide is difficult and dangerous to swim...so kids and animals (dogs) beware; low tide... More

Rent a boat from those great guys at Jensens or to Tween Waters and head out along the well marked intercostal to Cabbage Key for lunch and then on to marker 71 to the dock on Cayo Costa. The Park Rangers will take you on a short ride to the beach on the other side.Shelling to the left great swimming... More

We daytripped here from Treasure Island. Of the many trips we took I considered this place to be overrated and not much different that the many local beaches we have in Ohio. There are better places to see and visit in Florida. More
