Well worth a visit. Stroll along the walk way looking out for animals. Our kids loved gaitor spotting !
Be aware though...dependant on the time of year (we went in May) may sure you use insect repellant as two of us thought we'd be ok but we ended getting nearly eaten alive by the insects!

This Centre is operated by the Audubon Society and is said to be the jewel in its crown - a claim we can well believe. The boardwalk, over 2 miles long, is notable in itself, quite apart from the sights it enables you to see: and the information boards are interesting/helpful without becoming excessive.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast you will enjoy this sanctuary. Bring your camera and a tripod if you have one as you will see wildlife. Most of the surrounding areas have been logged but the Audubon society has done a good job of preserving this area for future generations. I unfortunately visited at the tail end of the dry season so the local wildlife was not as active. I'd like to visit again during the fall or winter. A few gators occupied some small puddles...

This is a great place to visit if you like critters native to Florida. Enjoy the boardwalks but do bring you sunscreen, shades,and bug spray. Have a wonderful time!!
