Whether you're interested in Jewish history or Florida history, this museum is a gem. The museum is located in two beautiful former synagogues with a little bakery attaching the two. The staff was very helpful and eager to answer any questions. The museum s a short walk from the major tourist area on Collins Ave. and well worth a visit!

I especially appreciated the Inez Hollander's "Miami Mosaic" and her gritty and insightful portraits of locals.

We didn't have a lot of time to spare the day we went here unfortunately and wished we could have stayed longer. This museum has a great history of the Jewish people in Florida. It is eye-opening. What a lovely shop and the prices are very reasonable. There is a security guard in the front almost 24 hours a day--a sad comment on the fear Jews still have to live with.

This museum, housed in two beautiful old synagogues, presents the past in many ways...an interesting video, displays on various topics, paper hand outs with timelines and an educational display that would catch the interest of children of all ages. The staff are polite and helpful without imposing. Lovely gift shop with Judaica to purchase.

I actually visited the Jewish Museum about a year ago. It has a wonderful collection about Florida Jewish history. Highly recommended.

This museum give you the history of jewish community,beliefs,ways and the one that are still in the area. Close location south beach so you ever around that area, good to see.
