My son had a class field trip to the Brevard Zoo. The weather was super hot, but there is a children's splash park. It's easy walking and be sure to bring lot's of dollar bills to buy food specific for each animal area. There are two different snack bars, but at lunch time there is quite a long wait. No...

Get there early to avoid the crowds and see the Giraffes. The tend to duck in when it gets cloudy or too hot. This place is always changing and expanding into something new every year. Worth a visit.

For a small zoo, this has a lot going for it. Nice interaction with birds in the aviary and the giraffes. Just big enough for a relaxing afternoon walk, pretty grounds, well kept.

From otters to giraffes, alligators to vultures, eagles, wolves, monkeys, this zoo is small enough to be friendly and large enough to satisfy those with grander...

I love the splash park, but you need to go there last or it's hard to get the kids away. The only downside is the new zip lines, which both...

What a wonderful zoo to visit! Small enough to be able to see the whole place easily, yet large enough to have some first-rate exhibits. A favorite is the giraffe feeding--they are really up close and personal with you. The emus and deer eat out of your hands. There are machines that you can buy food that is appropriate for...
