I went here to camp, and while it was fun, there was a ton of bugs. There was a lot of great wildlife. A smart raccoon even starting unzipping our tent in the middle of the night. :) More

This place is like being in the islands but you don't have to take a cruise and pay big money to get there. Everything to do and the views are breathtaking! Take the drive down and you will thank me! More

I am drawn by the beautiful beaches, but there is wonderful foot bridge across the inlet that is a favorite of the local fishermen. More

Did not over night but my brother has for extended periods and thought it was great. The inlet is awesome even if you don't fish. A beautiful location. More

Check the tide chart when planning your trip. The inlet is frequented by Manatee during high tide. Where you pay for that experience elsewhere, at Sabastian they just show up to say hi. During low tide the small inlet in only ankle deep. A good time to wade with the little ones and look at shells or take a nice... More

You want to see dolphins? manatees? turtles? rays? surfers? boats? tropical plants? sea birds? and more? This is the place! The whole area is surprisingly quiet--not full of rowdy tourists, disrespectful drivers, etc. We were there for a week and could've stayed indefinitely. LOVED IT! More
