I was so unhappy when I went to visit this Museum. Or should I say minute walk through building with art that no museum would want. :( Melbourne is disappointing, and this was no exception!

Exhibitions, art classes and events. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-7pm and Sunday 1-5. Admission: $5 adults, $3 seniors, $2 students and children. Free on Thursdays. Free for Museum members. Free children's events. First Friday Jazz night every 1st Friday of the month. Admission includes entry to Museum and Hands-on Activity Center. Special rates and tours available for groups of 8 or more. Call in advance to schedule.

Small but nice. Local. Worth a half-day trip. It's not the large art gallery many are used to, but there are often local displays that are worth the visit.

We went there over a year ago for an exhibition of a semi-famous photographer. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition. I grew up in the Washington DC area, where I visited the National Gallery of Arts and other Smithsonian Art Museums. This is charming for Brevard County.

Usually I wouldnt bring my young children to an art museum but the added EGAD events on the first Friday night of the month sets the stage for art at any age.Nice live music in the ajoining park and street vendors.

A nice stray away from the beach on your visit, the Brevard Art Museum offer paintings from some of the best local talent the Space Coast has to offer, as well as some notables as well. Before you even get to the door there's art displayed. To top it off the tour guide was very nice and was very knowledgeable.

Wonderful place to visit. The exhibitions far exceed what you would expect from a very small non-profit museum. Well worth the visit. The staff and volunteers are very pleasant.
