The Polk Museum of Art is definitely worth the trip if you are visiting Central Florida. We have been several times and the exhibits are continually changing and excellent. This museum is a nice, small community art museum in a lovely setting in Lakeland. Good outdoor sculpture garden and a nice collection of American art and ancient Latin American art. Near city library with easy, free parking around the museum. One can easily spend an hour or two here. Good gift shop. More
