I was disappointed by this place... Aside from the "few" local artists- with which I did purchase something- this place has the same souvenirs as every other shop in the keys

wide variety of local hand made items and lots of nautical art and local paintings. Nice hand made jewelry from locals
Everytime I visit Key Largo I make sure to stop here. I just love to shop here and look at the beautiful artwork. It is a neat place with a couple of different shops and galleries.
If your frustrated with the numerous "shell stands" along US1 and looking for something unique, stop by The Rain Barrel. Much original art, jewelry and other gifts at reasonable prices. After you enter, you walk through one store and it pans out into a little village with individual shoppes. Very cute idea, many really nice things for reasonable prices.

Loved the Tropical Zen shop and the Seaside Glassworks shops. These people truly have a passion for what they are selling. The glassworks items are beautiful and unique. I bought several pieces as mementos of my vacation here in Islamorada.
The Rain Barrel does have lots of little shops - the majority of which have lots of 'Keys' tchotchke souvenir type stuff that can be picked up in lots of spots throughout the keys and Florida. There were a couple of specialty shops - Jewelery, pottery, glass and paintings.
A nice spot to stroll and pick up a thing or...

Ware are very overpriced. They have had the same products and displays for many years. There never seems to be a lot of new vendors or artists.
