Great place to go for a bike ride. Crushed shell/concrete surfaces. Bike rentals available (but not daily...check in advance). Canoe/kayak rentals also. You get back in the woods away from it all!

Crushed limestone paths that wide along the head waters of the Loxahatchee river. Lots of shade with cabanas and picnic areas through out. Pioneer homestead, antique saw mill and weekend battle field tours of the second Seminole war.

My wife and I travel the world kayaking. This was an easy trip with great equipment. This part of the river was very different the even the ding darling park. It had a lot of wildlife and one of the largest Gaters I have yet to see in the Fla back waters. Enjoy!

Kayak rentals were very reasonable. Don't bring you camera with you, this may seem obvious, but I had never been before, and our kayak flipped. The scenery is so rustic, and you will wish you brought your camera!!

Love this park. Its huge! And it offers all kinds of outdoor activities. You can hike, bike, canoe, picnic. Its great to have a little bit of nature so close!
