We went to see them release turtles on hollywood beach last summer. It was really interesting to hear about all the turtles that come to south florida. More

This is a great place to visit especially if you love to walk and I bring sunscree. There is a pathway to bird watch and see animals. It's a great place to bring kids and this is very close to the beach. More

A little patch of mango swamp in the middle of development gone mad. You can find some serenity in certain spots More

This is a nice spot for a family walk or picnic. We did both. The south side of the park has 2 children's playgrounds, 1 with water play. It is a clean park with good washroom facilities and is nicely laid out. The north side of the park has nature trails and is more suited for adults and older children.... More

Rent a canoe, pack a lunch and enjoy nature at its finest. The guides know there estuary and you will learn a lot. Plus, it is close to the beach and not surrounded by alligators. More

Bike or walk the trails that actually take you into the mangroves! Peaceful right in the heart of Broward County! Who would think you could say that! Just before A1A, off Sheridan Street, experience a little bit of what Florida looked like before all the people and development took place! Enjoy! More
