What a nice park. Too bad the city of hollywood can't get it's act together to put some nice (not chintzy) performances there.

A perfect oasis of nature and beauty in the center of Hollywood. Giant blooming trees, hidden speakers for relaxing music, and art sculptures to appreciate. Do maintain an awareness of your surroundings because the park is also a haven for transients.

A lot of foreigners visit Fort Lauderdale. I ran into an eastern European young man who stopped me and asked for directions to the beach. I instructed him to walk the length and breadth of Las Olas before visiting the beach, since he was here, and since he was headed in the direction of Las Olas, anyway. If you are...

Whats with that? City spent millions of dollars for the stage and expect people to sit on the ground. Not great for the older folks. The bands were a nice mix, but after a very long walk--no parking anymore and having to sit on the ground or a concrete wall, the stay was short. Interesting glass blowing exhibit, great for...

We were there when they had the Food Trucks...always a fun event. It's a nice place to walk around, sit under a tree and have a picnic, and periodically, they have entertainment.

So much too do each time my children and I go. We love Monday's for food truck night where different vendors in food trucks come to tickle our fancies. Meals are pricey but I guess that is all the range right now.
I like Saturday nights for music and dancing and performances in the ampitheater. Price is free or may...

We took the trolley to downtown and enjoyed some time in artspark. It was a great time for my little son and we enjoyed the view and layed back atmosphere that permeates Hollywood.
You can easily get downtown for lunch and to visit a few smaller pocket playgrounds that were well suited for kids under five.
