We were staying in Destin and drove to Fort Walton (just next city over) for this science museum. It was run-down in my opinion. Thank goodness admission wasn't too expensive. The friends we traveled with decided to forgo this excursion based on reviews it got online and hit the beach instead. We should have done the same. More

We had a day of rain while staying in Destin, Fl. We read a few reviews on tripadvisor and decided to take the kids to the Science Center to get them out of the house. Our kids are 4 and 2 and it took us 30 minutes to go through the museum. It isn't "bad" but it isn't great. The... More

This place is a cool hands on science center - it's cheap plus your kids learn - you cannot beat that. More

If you want something hands-on and educational for your kids, this is the place. Make giant bubbles. Explore & learn about the human body. Play with light, color & sound. Shoot your kids with an air cannon. See yourself as a spooky skeleton. And make your shadow freeze. All right next to a public playground / park. Just enough to... More

Our 7 year-old loved this place. Lots to discover and learn with their hand-on exhibits. Definitely a place to visit! More

While on vacation, we ran into some rain. Had to find something to occupy the kids. We're from St. Louis where we have an amazing science center & Magic House. So we were not expecting much out of this. We were pleasantly surprised! Not the absolute best, but it was interesting and a lot of hands on stuff for the... More

Our 3-year old had alot of fun here, but I'm not sure older kids would enjoy it as much. We liked playing in the bubble room alot. The price is inexpensive, but the place could use a little updating. From start to finish, it took us about an hour to see everything. More

We stopped in here since we were in the area for the Gulfarium. This place is very small, only like 3-4 rooms for the kids to explore. Most of everything seemed not to work. It's like a Chidren's Musuem but small. It only took maybe 45 mins here but not worth the $17 (for 4 of us) since nothing seemed... More

We took our 3 and a half year old here on a rainy morning during our vacation. I would say that it is geared a little more towards school aged kids but he still got a kick out of some of the exhibits. I was expecting it to be a little bigger but all in all we think it was... More
