Very very small rocky beach on the river, not the Gulf. When I was there you would go a few feet into the water and hit patches of sea grass and who knows what else......I would never go back there again......not when there are so many other beautiful beaches nearby!! More

Well maintained by the county, well patroled with Facilities (they are a walk to get to from the beach). They also have plenty of canal area to navigate by canoe or Kayak with rentals on site. Please keep our beach CLEAN and enjoy yourself. More

I've lived up the road from this beach area for over 30 years. When the kids were little it was a great place for a single mom to hang while her children ran around in the shallow water all afternoon - just 3 miles from our home. We've enjoyed many picnics here. The shallow water goes out forever before it... More

Parking is very limited on this beach. You have to pay for parking, which is something new. Also, the "beach" (sand) area is very narrow. It's also a very shallow beach, so great if you have tiny tots - you need to walk out hundreds of yards(yes, you're reading this correctly) to even get waist deep. The water is usually... More

I go to Bunche Beach once a month. Can't beat walking the beach at low tide. The birding is amazing. If you don't want to walk, launch a kayak. There is a kayak rental place located just before the beach. Bunche Beach is part of the Great Calusa Blueway. The parking is crazy during season, but if you get there... More

We LOVE Bunche. It is not your typical sit in the sun or wade beach. It is really to see the ocean in a natural habitat. Yes, there is driftwood and the water is murky, but it's supposed to be! It is a wonderful walk with lots and lots to see -- shell seeds, shedded crab shells, sponges, fish. When... More

beautiful beach but once in the water the sand is really squishy. the government has now put in parking meters which totally stinks, it use to be a place that tourists did not know about. Since the meters came along so did the publicity... no longer accessible unless you want to pay to park. More

Parking is a bit of a drag, but other then that, I loved Bunche Beach. Lots of wildlife and live shells. (which you cannot take) I enjoyed watching boats, paddleboarders, kayaks and parasailing in the diatance. Always something to see.I'd say sunset is the best time More
