We really enjoyed our visit to this museum. The "primordial" exhibit was absolutely wonderful and we really enjoyed the entire 2nd floor--from Glackens to the Vasarely and other modern art. It's a warm and well-conceived museum and has terrific art classes. More

We always have agood time going there, with so many exhibitions going. Lines are too long, sometimes, so be patient. It is a great place when it's rainy, of course. More

William Glackens' impressionist paintings enjoy a delightful permanent presence in the Museum upstairs, and present a wonderful counterpoint to the often modern collections that come and go. Nice smaller museum. The current traveling exhibit is a collection of old master's paintings and tapestries from the Renaissance and Baroque period from the Uffizi Gallery, very interesting. I takes a morning or short afternoon to see the whole museum. More
