This museum kept our grandchildren of ages between 5 and 14 enthralled. The working exhibitions are extremely educational and well presented. This is a worthwhile attraction to see when visiting or living in Fort Lauderdale. We recently went to an event there on a Saturday night that was outstanding. More

Our family had a great time here. A few things that have to be expected in places like this are the children on school trip which we just avoided and some of the activities where broken which was to be expected especially after seeing how much it gets banged around. Otherwise we had a great time and would recommend it... More

Just wish there was a less confusing way to exit upstairs. Also the parking garages are a rip if you go on a night there is a performance at the "Preforming Center". Plan ahead for IMAX tickets, if it is a big title playing, weekend or weekend night or it just opened. You can buy tickets DAY OF movie at... More

The Museum of Discovery and Science has a lot going for it - good location, readily accessible parking and enough space inside that even on crowded summer days the museum isn't uncomfortable or congested. There are a number of interactive exhibitions for all ages and a very good IMAX theater. More

If you're looking for a big city science museum this isn't one, but it's ok for its size. Kids have fun with hands on things. More

With advance booking you are sure of a seat in the IMAX theatre, book and remember you need to collect your tickets as the box office window outside the theatre. There is parking available next to the cinema at a cost of $5 and it seemed pretty secure. We loved the 2D film and felt totally immersed in the marvellous... More

For adults and children alike this museum is a must. While having great fun with the exhibits like trying to land a plane there were also lots of ways of finding out about how the body works and ways of learning about the environment. Also great I-Max film shows. More

IMAX is IMAX. The rest is more for kids. It didn't have enough stuff and is in downtown Fort Lauderdale, not my favorite place. More

We took 3 of our 6 grandchildren (ages 3 and 4) to the Museum of Discovery and Science. I don't have a lot of experience in these sort of venues (for kids) but i must say that I found it as interesting as our grandchildren did. There is something there foe any age. The exhibits are well designed and chock... More
