The Museum of Discovery and Science has a lot going for it - good location, readily accessible parking and enough space inside that even on crowded summer days the museum isn't uncomfortable or congested. There are a number of interactive exhibitions for all ages and a very good IMAX theater. More

If you're looking for a big city science museum this isn't one, but it's ok for its size. Kids have fun with hands on things. More

With advance booking you are sure of a seat in the IMAX theatre, book and remember you need to collect your tickets as the box office window outside the theatre. For adults and children alike this museum is a must. While having great fun with the exhibits like trying to land a plane there were also lots of ways of finding out about how the body works and ways of learning about the environment. Also great I-Max film shows. More
