What a shame! Had Captain Potter stopped the airboat from time to time and given some information about what we were seeing and about the history of the Everglades this would have been an excellent trip. When asked questions he answered them and obviously knew much about the environment but he seemed unwilling to share his knowledge unless prompted.

Went on the 90 minute tour with Capt Smallwood. Very cool trip saw pelicans, ospreys, a family of raccoons, and oh yeah a 10 foot gator. Island Airboat Tours is a fantastic place for fun! The staff is accommodating, tour guides are knowledgeable and the sights are fantastic. Be sure to bring SUNBLOCK, though, as the sun can become intense reflecting off all the water. Overall had a great time on the 1-hour tour.

Air boating is fun, but this was spectacular! Our guide Henry was awesome and funny! The tour was fun filled we saw gators, big ones, raccoons and all kinds of wildlife! What a gem! Highly recommend this hidden gem to all wanting to do air boating!

This was our second time out with Totch. It was a great trip, very informative, lots to see. We had a gator right up next to the boat, raccoons hanging from trees to drink water. Our capt. was great! We did the 1 hour tour - will go back next time we 're in town.

It was an amazing trip for us. Kids enjoyed watching crocodiles fro the air boat. Our captain was the funniest guy. He entertained us by calling birds by their names and feeding the from his hands. After the boat you stay for the short show which was also great.

Although gators were scarce in March, due to the high salt content of the briny water, it was a lovely and very enjoyable trip.
