We were here with our two boys in early May and we loved this beach! Very relaxing and not crowded at all. The trails were a bit short, but great views. We saw numerous golfer turtles and even a small snake! Recommend this beach 100%. More

Our room wasn't ready at the Trianon so we went to lunch at Coconut Jack's and the walked over to the beach. Barefoot Beach was a delightful introduction to the area beaches. The sand is soft, the water was warm and the beach wasn't crowded. Two thumbs up! More

Teeny biting bugs in the bushes and grasses. Put your chairs right on the shore to avoid this. Go early to get parked. More

Have to go through a high end residential area to get there but enjoy the the homes on the way. The beach was excellent. We were here once when the water so calm and another after a storm that had the tranquil Gulf of Mexico looking like a Tsunami. Both times were enjoyable. More

The preserve is in pristine condition and the beach is beautiful. If you walk or bike thru the preserve there is no charge. It will be the best afternoon you have spent in florida. More

Although rated as one of the best beaches in the US (apparently), what made the Preserve worthwhile was the walking trail seeing what beaches in this area were like before development. Interesting and worthwhile. And, if you're going, take a camera to photograph the gopher tortoises - we saw about half a dozen of them. Parking is $8 - -... More
