I visited this facility many times over the years and have had friends that exhibited here. This is the home of what I would call "real" contemporary art and you may not understand it all but it's thought provoking, fun and wonderful. The gift shop is small but unique. I've never seen it crowded except for openings so if you... More

A great facility full of exciting people. Wasn't able to see a show while in town but the people working were happy to show me around and chit chat. More

I love going to DCCA! There's always something new and something to capture your attention. The only disappointing part is that now I'm in college and don't get to visit as much as I'd like. More

I loved the silk pieces by Emily Erb...so much so that we went to see it twice. More

Small but fun. Great lecture series (free!) and kids programs. Very accessible modern art and free parking at the Riverfront. Often missed but worth it for a family weekend outing or adult "stroll and learn" session. More

Small has it's advantages. This museum has weekly events presented by the artists. There is nothing more inspiring than talking with artists and hearing how their exhibited works evolved and the layers of meanings in their pieces. It's true. Anyone can talk with the artist not just listen to their lecture. Unlike touring the typical art museum where there is... More

This is a nice little art museum that features local contemporary artists. I'm not really into that scene so I don't always "get" all the exhibits. But it's always interesting and always free. I would budget about an hour to liesurely go through it. While it is in the Riverfront district, it is set back toward the freeway/MLK so you... More
