Rehoboth Beach is a classy, moderately-keyed neighborhood that has bars, restaurants, and clubs abounding everywhere. I came here every year as a kid on vacation. It's still a wonderful place. The boardwalk is still clean yet has a lot to do and Rehoboth Ave. has some great shopping. We ate at some great places and of course, had the best fries in the world, Thrasher's.

Been here several times before and just keep coming back. Laid back beach town ! Not the college and high school beaches 20 miles south. The beach is clean, the air is clean, even the streets are clean. It's fantastic.

super clean. boardwalk is wide and goes on and on...great place for all walks of life. get up early and run from henlopen to dewey then plop yourself down in the sand and enjoy the sun.

This beach town is nice, because it has a family-friendliness to it. It's also gay-friendly. There are some nice restaurants (if you step out of the boardwalk area) and shops. I am not a shopping fan, so we didn't do the outlets, which I was told are huge.

I guess it depends what you are expecting, but we were a little disappointed. The beach itself is great and the boardwalk is well maintained, but the place was very crowded and attractions seemed somewhat limited. Maybe we just didn't find the right bits!

The beach area is expansive; lots of room for all and plenty of "rent chairs and umbrellas" areas. There seemed to be plenty of public restrooms available right off the beach area.

Rehoboth Beach is the best overall beach destination I've been to, period. Food, family, fun, and a great overall atmosphere. I could spend a lot of time telling you how wonderful it is, but truth is you have to come here and check it out yourself. Highly recommended.
