Ran a portion of the trail for the first time the other day. Started at the Tanger Outlets parking lot and went north toward Lewes. It was a pleasure to run on dirt and cinders instead of concrete and macadam for a change. The trail is plenty wide and is covered by foliage, until one hits the corn fields. Very... More

My husband and I went on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed the walk and views over the wetlands. It was a weekday morning prior to Meml Day so not very many people. Other times when busy the bikes can keep you jumping out of the way. Bikers are not always courteous to walkers. But still one of the nicest... More

Great trail to bike or walk. It is a paved trail that winds trough farm fields woods and marsh. Dogs on leash are welcome. There are benches along the trail to rest if needed.

This is a quiet and varied trail we enjoyed. It was mostly out of the wind, since it was a bit breezy at that time.

This is a back cindered trail for biking and hiking. There are no cars near or even within signt. The trail takes you through wooded area, past farm areas, over wooden boardwalks that cross over water areas. Very nice and somewhat private. You will spot various types of wildlife along the way as well.

Our family of 4 loved the flat, well-marked trail from Lewes to Rehobeth. We bicycled about 13 miles round-trip, with a break at the Rehobeth boardwalk for food and views of the ocean. The trail is well maintained, seemed incredibly safe (there were other people on the trail, but not many of the late March date of our ride). We... More

This is a well kept secret for Rehoboth. It has well maintained paths and incredible scenery for walking, running or biking. It has peace and quiet anytime of year. I just wish it was longer...........

Nice job was done by State and County for people who like to get out and walk. Joggers tell me they enjoy the trail also. The trail was built over railroad tracks...........that I use to walk when I was a kid.

Off season may be the best time as it does get some usage by joggers, bikers and walkers! You start (or end) off Gills neck road in Lewes, where you travel what used to be the train track (wish they would've kept in operation.... traffic here what it is). Goes thru some pretty wetland areas to the back side of... More

This is a fun bike ride. We traveled from Rehoboth to Lewes. There is one part that could get a little dicey if you have kids with you. You have to ride on a busy road for about half mile.
